Holiday Programs Programs given by students during holi- day seasons are annual events at Roosevelt. ln observance of Thanksgiving, an assembly was held where inspirational mu- sic was provided bythe senior choir, girls' glee and orchestra groups. Reading the President's Thanksgiving Day Proclama- tion was Ralph Millard, while The Prayer of St. Francis was presented by Bunny Ni- dever. Psalm T03 and a poem, The Thought for Thanksgiving were given by Carol Liv- ingston and Anthony Lozito, respectively. A tableau was featured in telling the traditional Christmas story at the Christmas assembly. Biblical characters and voices were portrayed by students. Members ofthe senior choir and or- chestra added to the inspiring program. Easter was also a time of year when students reioiced. Traditional songs were played and sung by members ofthe musi- ic department. Readings were also given by students of the drama and speech classes.
