Bob Jensen crashes through decorated goal posts at Little Big Game. Faculty fall , qitlg?? X Homecoming Homecoming Week, the basis for many Roosevelt traditions, is filled with activities such as float building, voting for queen and preparation for the annual Little Big Game. Roosevelts homecoming queen is chos- en in a unique way. Each club nominates a queen candidate. At the beginning of the week a rack holding a bottle for each condi- date along with her picture is set up. Votes are cast by students putting money in the bottle of their choice. The candidate with the most money in her bottle becomes Homecoming Queen. Money gained through this activity goes into a student body proiect. The queen is an- nounced at the Little Big Game rally. Bar- bara Vinzant, sponsored by Riderettes, was this year's honored queen. Clubs also added color to this week by making floats for entry into a contest. First place went to the Bermuda Girls. The float depicted a scene at the victory flag pole. Homecoming Week was climaxed this year with a victory over rival Fresno High School in the Little Big Game.
