g00tAdf .SQCIJOFL pa! ieri School yells, jazz music, and loud voices are just some of the characteristics of Roose- velt's fall rallies. Displaying their tremendous school spirit and loyalty, Roosevelt students' eager participation in the rallies never fal- tered, even though the Riders trailed in the Yosemite League tournament. At all rallies student body and class yell leaders led the enthusiastic students in the yells and the vivacious rally girls performed, accompanied by Roosevelt's outstanding hand. Daryl Ruby, chairman of the rally com- mittee, and Linda Pelletier, head yell leader, were responsible for much of the success of all the rallies held this fall. Highlighting the fall rallies was the Little-Big rally, held before the traditional Little-Big game with Roosevelt's cioss-town rival, Fresno high school, for the possession of the Little Brown Pig. Excitement was at fever pitch that afternoon, and everyone vigorously yelled in support of the team. Fresno High's student body president came to Roosevelt to give a speech and to express his hope that no discrepancies would arise between Roosevelt and Fresno High the night of the game. A speech was also given by Mr. Milton Young, founder of the Little Brown Pig. l. Q. f Roosevelt cadets execute Warrior president. - ,mmpvr
