Wf. Cami . . . Music, Music, Music has been fhe 'rheme song for Mr. Coverf since he learned lo play lhe 'trum- pe'r in The sixrh grade. He 'roolc an acfive parf in bofh elemeniary and junior high bands, bu'r if was noi unlil he enlered senior high fhaf he wen+ all ouf for music. From his 'ren+h year on, he was a member of fhe band, or-chesfra, chorus, and dance band. During This era he had his firslr experiences in marching and preparing for a fes+ival. A+ lhe beginning of college, music began +o pay off for Mr. Coverl. He organized and conducfecl a dance band and fhe money from 'rhis and a lhou- sand dollar scholarship paid for four years of Col- lege. Ollen he 'loolc a playing parf in his own band as he plays all brass and woodwind inslrumenls. Allhough he enjoys all phases of musical aclivify, his iirs+ love is lhe sfring ensemble worlc. All members are seclion heads ol lhe orcheslra, all are members of lhe All Soulhern California High or Junior High School Orcheslra, and as a group, fhey have played for lwelve consecuiive lvlolhers Teas.
