COUNSELORS. Lett to Right: Mrs. Margarite Horne,
.Vtrs. Dora Becker, Mrs. Thelma Harris.
- "What college should I go to?"
. . . "But I hate school!" . . . "Why can't we stay
behind the auditorium during lunch hour?" . . .
"But my foot was already in the doorway when
the tardy bell rang!"
To some of us, our counselors represented
discipline, and the sight of the monitor bearing
the familiar pink pass which summoned us out
of class meant detention assignment. To others,
they were patient and sagacious advisors. To
most of us, however, they were a combination
of both. We shall remember, with amusement,
how the mere sight of them sent lingering stu-
dents scurrying out of the cafeteria. Most of
all, however, we shall remember them with
warm affection and gratitude as our friends.
