Smiihs Lead The Wag RHS has had the same princi- pal now for eleven years. During this time Mr. A. E. Smith has guided and directed the activities of many varied students. Besides his duties as principal, he manages to represent the school in most every organization and at- tends nearly all school-related functions, both on and off school grounds. His concern for the student and faculty alike has made him a much-admired man. ---W., RAY W, SMITH - Counselor B, S, - Texas Tech M. E, - Univ. of Houston A. E. SMITH - Principal B.A. - Texas Tech M, A, - Baylor Mr. Ray Smith came to RHS during the 1971-'72 school term assume-duties as the first full- time director of guidance and counseling here. A band director for 16 years Mr. Smith did not become full time counselor until 1963.
