These two hard- working girls tied for highest academic honors so both re- ceived the title of Co-Valedictorian. Iudy and Pam both maintained a perfect 4. 0 grade point average throughout their Junior and Senior years. The Roosevelt Katiebeth Chapter of FHA set out in 1970-1971 to reach their goal: to help youth comprehend the problems of society and contribute to their solutions. Different programs presented were an Ice Cream Social, panels on Homemaking Qualities, a Veteran's Day program, an insurance speaker, and an FBI speaker. The Katiebeth Chapter undertook such projects as Salute to Soldiers, a mock vote, a March of Dimes volleyball game, and EHA Week. ,Through the sponsorship of Mrs. Glenda Harris each year the Katiebeth Chapter forges into gaining new knowledge in the field of home economics.
