To the Students of Roosevelt Schools, As many of you know, this is my twentieth year as superintendent of the Roose- velt Schools. This means that none of you have had the privilege of working with another superintendent while in this school. For you this is most unfortu- nate, but for me it has been the happiest years that anyone could possibly have. These twenty years have been happy ones because I have spent them working and living with young men and young women such as you. Just think of the happiness that Ihave enjoyed with you this year teaching, coaching, making athletic trips, associating with each of you and as your superintendent, multiply this happiness by twenty. and you begin to realize what my stay at Roosevelt has meant to me. May I say that this year has been one of my happiest because of you, students of 1962-63. You are a swell group and my thanks go to you for your friend- liness, cooperation, and above all, for the smiles and happiness you have shown nie.
