A constitution was drawn up and the officers were elected as follows: President-- Ilene Tarjany Vice President -- Carol Authier Secretary-- Sandra Brandt Treasurer--Florence Fody The dues were set at ten cents a week, and the meetings were held every Wednesday afternoon. After the first meeting, the club was very active. Some of its activities were: Cake, Popcorn, and lemonade salesg trips to various hospitalsg and sewing bees. The annual Christmas Party was held on December 21, and at this party the members received their Future Nurses Club pins, which were financed by the club treasury. The project for the year was the redecoration of the nurses room. Pillows were covered, and the girls began working on slip covers. Mrs. Forbush, their sponsor, helped the girls to obtain information on the various schools of nursing. She also rented a couple of films for the enjoyment of the members. After this the Sophomores were divided up into two groups, Team A and team B. Also the Freshmen were divided up into two groups then team A of the Sophomores played team A of the Freshmen and team B of the Sophomores played team B of the Freshmen. Team A of the Freshmen won and Team B of the Sophomores won. Each team will play the Juniors next. Winners of these games will play off and the winners of that game will be champs. . . ,..i1-...t...,.,...-. --.. ,. -- V- W -- ' President-- Beverley Clevenger Vice-Presidentn Nancy Gray Secretary-- Rosalie Huddleston Treasurer-- Sandra Brandt 7N'W7 ' 5' 'QQ nblgl.
