The main thought uppermost in each of the members minds is to embel upon the minds and hearts of fellow students to achieve and maintain a higher scholastic standing, to be of service to others less fortunate and to believe in leadership, embodying character, scholarship, and service which enables them to take their place as builders of democracy. 'In the near future, the present N. H. S. hopes to be able to have a Junior N.H.S. which will consist of nineth and tenth graders.

It's main purpose is to create a better understanding between the students and their advisors. It also tries to improve the school's appearance and to help carry out the rules set up by the members of the club. Each year two students are chosen from each grade to represent their individual classes. This year the Student Council consists of 12 members. Joe Hall is pre-si dent, Bobbie - vice-president, Pat Davis - secretary, and jim McElyea is the treasurer. In the future as in the past, we are sure that the Student Council will continue to carry out its remarkable work. li li- Int
