District Administrators Dr. Claude E. Norcross retired this year after serving the school district for eight years as superintendent of schools. Dr. Norcross earned his B.A. at Central Mis- souri State University, his M.A. at Clare- mont Graduate School and his Ed. D at Stanford University. Throughout his ca- reer as a superintendent, he made signifi- cant improvements for the school, and was credited with maintaining the great reputation enjoyed by the Palos Verdes School System. Counselors The counseling staff at Rolling Hills provides a valuable function by helping students choose courses to take and by aiding them wWh college information and work opportunities. In a large, sometimes impersonal school, the counselors provide a haven where the individual can discuss his personal concerns, both academic and social, with someone who cares.
