sell bonds and stamps to the eX-
tent of 375,000 'Iihis sum un-

plaque will be inserted in the
cabin of this airplane stating that
the machine was made possible
through the efforts of the student

Numerous activities, including an
auction sale, pep rally and sev-

to further this objective.

HE Rogers Orchestra has made excellent progress this year. It has played at a number
of school functions such as P.-T. A. meetings, and is now meeting, and surpassing, many of
the high standards set for it by its own performance in prexious years.
The hand, organized at the beginning of the second semester, is growing rapidly in
enthusiasm and finesse as well as in numbers.
At the annual Music Festival held at lf.S.C.. Rogers received many top honors. Those
receiving superior ratings were Richard Vllaller, clarinetg Eddie Freeman, saxophone: Carroll
Ailman, violing Jerry Shaw, bass xiolg Jack Crawford, trumpetg and Marvin Tincher, drums.
Paul Benedick lviolinl came away with an Hlfxcellentjl rating, while Betty Bartella lbass
