Broadcasting Broadcasting Cluh offers xarious opportunities lor a person to improxe his speaking ahilily. He learns to stand l'0I'l'0t'lly. to speak clearly. and to use good English. Make-helieve programs are given so the students van learn the simple teehnique ol radio speeeh. Stamps This group of young philatelists ls ina Q twelve enthusiastif- stamp eolleetors. Moving pie- tures, magazines and newspapers ahout Latin Ameriea are used to pro- mote interest in the Spanish speaking countries.

SPECIAL Dramatics The future Cables and l'lepburns ol liogers. handsome boys and glamorous girls. take turns wringing tears and laughter from a spellbound audience. These Superheings must act and im- provise lines at the same time. Brains and beauty equals Creative Dramatics. Science The Science Club was established lor the purpose ol' studying our natural environment. Once a week moyies on various topics are shown. The remaining day is spe11t studying science magazines and giving reports on them. Camera Club f. w w . lhe Lamera Llub members are lll- teresled mainly in photography. This semester they have been fortunate enough to go to lVlrs. Seelyis home where she has explained developing. procedure and printing. They haw attempted to present the Hound-up to you in an interesting and attractive form. Writers Stories and poems are written, then read by the members of the Writers Club. with criticism from lVlr. Lawrence and the rest of the class. The club has done some yery fine writing for Junior High School students. Une of the members is the author of i'Portrait of a Dog", the continued story in the Coxswain. Model Airplane Club Organized for the study. discussion and construction of scale and model flying airplanes. This year over forty models were Completed or in the ad- vanced stages of construction. Many of this group were members of The Fu- ture "Y'7 Flyers. and as such partici- pated in the many excellent dinners. meetings and model contests which were sponsored by the Rotary Club.
