This was just one of many enterprises of the Friend- ship Club. Friendship girls, who are nienibers of the YWCA, sponsored a rummage sale, for which they collected articles in a door-to-door eain- paign. Selling ribbon candy, another big project, helped to reinforce the elub's treasury. Other services included canvassing Rocky River for the YWCA building fund drive. making gifts for hospital patients, fixing broken dolls for needy children, and enter- taining orphans with Christxnas and Valentine parties. The girls themselves enjoyed a good time at the Pops' Party, where their dads shared the spotlight, and the l'a-Ma-Me dinner, where the year's at-tivities were brought to a elose. tlffieers for the year were: president, Dale t'rissniang vice-president, Bonny Allen: sec- retary, Sue Millerg and treasurer, Gail All- inen.
