BCARD GF EDUCATIG MR. SIEDEL MR. SMILEY MRS. LEPONTOIS MRS. JOSSELYN MR. SOLLENBERGER MR. DETTERMAN Planning for the kind of education which will enable the students of Rocky River to take their places in a democratic society is the responsibility delegated to the members of the board of education. Through the foresight and good judgment of this group the public schools of Rocky River are maintained at a high level of educational efficiency. The mem- bers of the board give generously of their time, knowledge, and experience to make our school system one of which we are proud. The community, as well as the schools, suffergd a great loss in the passing of Mr. Edward W. Ferry, who served on the board of education for three years. Officers for the year are Mr. Frank Siedel, president, Mr. l-lylas E. Smiley, vice-president, and Mrs, Mildred Josselyn, clerk-treasurer. Oqher members are Mrs. Allison LePontois, Mr. Carl W.
