ROBBIE ASHBY il Robbie Ashby began and completed her school career in Rockwall. During her days at R,H,S, , her name was changed from Robbie Tyler to Robbie Ashby by her marriage on January 22, 1962, to Eddie Ashby. She has participated in F, H,A, and has served as an office assistant. Robbie is very interested in shorthand, and her ambition is to be a secretary and a good mother. Ks. ul1Y1'- WOODY BARNES Woody Barnes, a lifetime resident of Rockwall, has been a student in Rockwall for the past twelve years. Woody is a member of F,F,A. and served as president his senior year. He also served as class president his sophomore and junior years, and was selected most Friendly Senior Boy. He participated in the junior class play, Ready Made Family and in the senior play, Bolts and Nuts. Woody has been active in such sports as baseball, track, and football. He was captain of the 1963 State Championship Football Team and likes to recall the date of the Championship Game, December 21, 1963 He placed All-District his junior and senior years and All-State Honorable Mention his senior year. 37

JACKIE ANDERSON Jackie Anderson has been a student in Rockwall since the first grade. During his school days in Rockwall, Jackie has been active in F.F,A, and has served as F, F, A, vice-president, He served his class as vice-president his freshman year. Jackie's main interests are centered around sports, and he has participated in basketball, track, base- ball, and football. He is a member of Rockwall's 1963 State Championship team, and remembers the Championship Game as his most fond memory. He made All-District his junior and senior years and All-State his senior year. He was also elected Most Athletic by the student body. His senior year, he participated in the senior play, Bolts and Nuts. 36 Gary Anderson entered Rockwall High School as a freshman from Rowlett. Gary served his class as president his freshman year and as vice-president his senior year. He has been sports reporter for the Jacket Buzz. s i X 3 GAIL BENNETT DWIGHT BRASWELL Dwight Brasell moved to Rockwall in May of 1959. Dwight was a two year member of the National Honor Society serving as vice-president his senior year. He was president of his class his senior year and was elected Most Fun senior boy. His favorite sports are baseball and football. He was a member of the 1963 State Championship Team and recalls the State Championship Game with fond memories. He won the Sportsmanship Award his senior year and also placed All-District. 38 Gail Bennett moved to Rockwall in June of 1958 and began school here in the seventh grade. Gail was selected Most Beautiful her freshman year. She has been a librarian and office assistant. She was a member of the cast for the junior play, Ready Made Family and of the senior play, Bolts and Nuts. She was on the yearbook staff her senior year serving as photographer and classes editor. Gail's immediate plans after graduation is to attend a school of cosmetology. Her greatest ambi- tion is to become a model. 5 i f
