ROCKWALL VS. H. G. SPRUCE Jackie Anderson struggling to free him- self from a Spruce Apache. In the 4th game of the year, Rockwall showed great improve ment and a lot of spirit. Jackie Anderson had a very good night, scoring 26 of the 33 points. His first score was from 15 yards out. His next was from 7 yards out, behind some fine blocking. Gary Anderson, who played an inspired game, scored from 40 yards out. Then Jackie scored again, after which Woody Barnes made a beautiful kick for the extra point. The Jackets final score was on a dazzling 80 yard run by Jackie Anderson. A fine effort was displayed by everyone. V J , : ' T as 1 r,,W,, if x A 7 Marc Noel sneaks past everyone for a Jacket gain. Johnny Cullins, Freddy Morrow, and Ronnie ROCKWALL VS. LEWISVILLE Lewisville came into the game undefeated in district play, just as the Jackets. The game was marked by Rockwall's stout defense lead by Woody Barnes, Freddy Morrow, Johnny Cullins, Harold Chenault, and Dwight Braswell. The Jacket offense started slowly in the first half by scoring only twice, both times by Marc Noel. Our offense, headed by quarterback Kenny Terry,was quite a bit classier in the second half as we rolled up 20 more points to bring the final score to 36-O. l Burton tell Santa what they want for Christ- mas--STATE CHAMPIONSHIP! Dwight Braswell covers as Marc Noel snags pass. Marc Noel goes around end against Lewisville Farmers.
