Varsity The Varsity has added another good record to the sport's album at Rockcreek. Although they were surely lacking in height, they more than made up for it, with good team play and the will to win. The Players have kept up the good name of Rockcreek for sports- manship and although they were treated very rough because of their size, they were sportsmen-like in their conduct. At the time of printing they had piled up a record of 10 wins and 5 losses. We believe them to be one of the best teams in the history of Rockcreek and that they have been a credit to the school. Hoopingarner: Senior, was a con- sistent scorer and used his one- handed shot and weight for those drive-in shots, to be one of the top scorers. Arnold: Senior, a very heady ball player and although short in height he used his one handed shot to become a top scorer. Kinsey: Senior, was a great as- set to get rebounds and used a one-handed shot to can his field goals. Walmsley: Senior, was a good de- fensive man and rebounder. His pep was a great aid in keeping up the spirits of the team. Gilbert: Junior, his ability to drive and score should be a great help next year. The record to date is: Rockcreek 46 Lafayette Central 44 Rockcreek 42 Hartford Twp. 59 Rockcreek 40 Liberty Center 41 Rockcreek 41 Lancaster 38 Rockcreek 38 Jackson 32 Rockcreek 41 Monmouth 38 Rockcreek 63 Adams Central 47 Rockcreek 63 Union 36 Girod: Senior, also saw limited action but helped out in height and defense when needed. Geiger: Senior, saw limited ac- tion, but was always ready with plenty of scrap when called upon. Milligan: Junior, was our long- shot artist and used his speed and drive in stealing the ball from opponents. Briner: Sophomore, has a great deal of drive and scoring punch and should help out for the next two years. Eichhorn: Junior, was moved up in mid season and his height should prove valuable next year. Second Team Our second team has had a very impressive record so far this Year, Cat the time the annual went to pressb. They have had good team cooperation and have shown a great deal ol school spirit while playing their games. They should be given considerable credit for their work because they have helped the first team in practive. They participated in a four-way tourney the 16th of December in which they emerged runner-up after a hard fought battle. The team is well molded together, and since they arethe neucleus of the teams to come, they should post some good records. Their record for the year is as follows: Rockcreek Lafayette Rockcreek LancasterCTourneyJ W. Rockcreek Rockcreek Hartford Twp.
