SCHOOL CALENDAR Feb. 6—Board of Control Party—Cupid ran out of arrows at this Valentine Party. 8—National Assembly—Some new ideas on star gazing. 12—Pep Club Assembly—The latest things in floor-shows. 15—Exchange Assembly—Our Reliance neighbors entertained Mar. 4-5-6—District Basketball Tournament in Green River. 12—Junior Prom—The old gym was transformed into a moon¬ lit Hawaiian beach. 19—Quarter ends—Three down and one to go—Will there be a diploma with my name on it 19—Pep Club Barn Dance—Jitterbugging has nothing on the good old Virginia Reel. 19—St. Patrick Day Assembly—Begorra! Did you see those colleens? 26—Sophomore Party—First all-school dance given by the sophs. Apr. 9—Freshman Party—An exclusive affair for the freshmen only. 16— Defense Council Dance—A war stamp with every ticket of admission. 17— Gros Ventre Assembly—Our own Quiz Kids. 30—May Day Party—An old-fashioned box social. May 4—Senior Class Play—Some solid sending by the seniors. 10—Music Week Assembly—Sharp music in nothing flat. 21—Class Day—We gave the pick and shovel to the Class of ' 44. 25—Senior Picnic—Free fun for all. 27—Commencement—The end of the beginning.

SCHOOL CALENDAR Aug. 31—School started—Same old story every year. — Sept. 14—Election of class officers—First war-time election for class of ’43. Oct. 9—Homecoming—Miss Liberty and Uncle Sam led the Student body on our march toward victory. 30—Junior Hallowe’en Party—Cider flowed like water. 30—Quarter ends—One down and three to go. Nov. 6—Library Club Assembly—some “do’s” and “don’t” in the use of the library. 11—Armistice Day—The Tigers rolled over the big bad Wolves. 13-14—Student Leadership Conference—“School Participation in National Defense.” 17 All-school play—RING AROUND ELIZABETH—Fortu¬ nately amnesia isn’t contagious! 19— Football banquet—The “muscle” men celebrated the end of a successful season. 20— Girl-date-Boy Party—Ladies’ night at Rock Springs High. 26—Thanksgiving—Praise the Lord and pass the turkey I Dec. 18—Christmas Assembly—Holiday greetings with music. 19—Christmas vacation begins—At long last! 29—Senior-Alumni Dance—The yearly visit of the alumni to their Alma Mater. Jan. 15—Board of Control Party—High jinx at the “Juke Joint” 15—Semester ends—Two down and two to go—We got a few more gray hairs from the semester exams. 29—Home Ec. Assembly—Yes, fashions change—Thank good- 24
