A. was established in 1930. Its purpose is to create greater interest and promote ac- tivity in public speaking. To qualify for membership, one must represent his school in debate, oratory, 0r declamation, and must have grades equal to or above the average of the school. The total membership is 37, 13 of whom have graduated, i leaving 24 active members. Interest has been great enough to almost double the membership this year.
