The concert season was highlighted by a fine Spring Concert on May 4 The Instrumental Depart ment also picked up four I ratings at the D1str1ct Contest at Maryville, and two, I ratings at the state contest climaxing a year of hard work

We spent the early part of the school year getting organized and working on a Christmas concert. Then work began on our contest numbers. It was hard work, but we feel that we profited from the effort. After con- test, we worked on some lighter numbers, such as Catch a Falling Star, and Hi-Lili, Hi-Lo , Now that we have completed this school year, somehow surviving the frequent rattling of pots and pans from the kitchen, we think it was well worth our time and effort to be a chorus member.
