GRE Y Miss Lydia Strobel spoke to our Citizenship class on Flags of the U. S. The display shows the flags of the 50 states and the various national flags. The World History class contributed this bulletin board during our study of the middle ages. 16 Social Studies required lots of note taking. At the beginning of class our pen cils looked like this. The members of our class in American History were ready with the answers this time. Great interest was shown in the study of World War Il Mrs. Shaw reads a human-interest story about World War II.

For actual office experience, we were re- quired to take letters in shorthand from Mr. D. They were then typed and mailed. Evelyn Davis seems to be confidently ful- filling the requirements. Her achievement was the highest in the class -- taking dictation at the rate of 90 wpm and tran- scribing with 5U7o or less errors. U. sw I' jr iii.. WW-M vii? Numerous were the tests we had in bookkeeping class. Russell Herron didn't seem to mind them at all - - he nearly always made the highes grade. His overall average was highest at the end of the year.
