PRESENTING THE STORY OF A YEAR AT ROCK PORT HIGH SCHOOL ROCK PORT , MISSOURI Foreword Remember the first day of school when we greeted old friends and were assigned to new classes? How about the football games and the half-frozen spectatorsg the Homecoming Parade with the beauti- ful Queen, decorated floats and old grads? Then with the approach of winter came the basketball season. Tense with excitement we cheered our team on. In the midst of all this came the much anticipated Christmas vacation. After a gay Christmas Ball we returned to the old grind. In no time at all the second semester had begun and we could say that at least half of our school year was behind us. Then along came the basketball tourney, and the hoopsters' hysteria came to a boil. Colorful pep squads performed and fans went wild while the teams played their hearts to win. All of a sudden it was spring. Prom committees were appointed and a theme was chosen. The prom was a success. At last summer vacation arrived. Truly this has been a year .... WE'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER!! -195 - ROCKET
