The team ' s success was aided by such tough pitchers as Mike Darby and Mike Muelenburg. Rocky diamondmen were overall very ag¬ gressive at the plate. Run Coach Wilson goes over the days workout. The girls ' track team has a large squad again this year with many fine returning lettermen. Under the superb coaching of coaches Bob Wilson, Marilyn Fields, and John Each, the girls ran to another successful season. Many returning seniors provided experience, depth, and leadership. This was the seventh season that the girls have competed on a track team, and every year proves to be bet¬ ter. Throw Mindy Bibee shows the winning form that helped her break the school record. Jump Sprint Stretching should be taken seriously, although some of the girls track team members do not agree. Girls Track 49

Head Sophomore baseball coach Gary Bender received another fine season from his Pebbles this year. The Pebble ' s pitching staff was led by Rory Gunter, while the Pebbles scoring attack was paced by Ed Kernan, who pro¬ vided the long ball threat. Once again freshmen from both campuses were on the team and for the second year Coach Bender was assisted by Thom McGreevey. This year ' s Sophomore Coaches are: Gary Bender, and Thom McGreevey.
