Senate sparks school spirit Junior Senators Junior Senators are: Row 1; Shel¬ ley Linn, Karen Hurry, Lisa Braner, Wendy Kolinchinski, Ju¬ lie Eckhardt, Karen Nightengale, Scott Robertson. Row 2: Bob Love, Adrienne Yokas, Lori Sie- gert, Chris Kirzeder, Diane Reynolds, Lori Allison. Row 3; Dave Shellhouse, Mario Apple- quist, Terry Brown, Lori Moran, Julie Johnson, and Diane Mirr. The student senate worked to¬ gether this year to turn out some well organized, student oriented activities. In addition to social projects such as Homecoming, Swirl, and Junior-Senior Prom, the senate became more involved in actual student government and governing affairs. New additions to and by the student senate in¬ clude: new and interesting stu¬ dent interest week including many exciting speakers, a newly painted third-floor hallway featur¬ ing alternating red-gold panels, and a new committee entitled P.U.R.S.U.E. (Positive Uplift Reviv¬ ing Spirit Using Enthusiasm.) Karen Hurry, Diane Reynolds, and Pam Lundy enjoy the everyday tasks of a sena¬ tor. Chesling. 164 Lettermen lead the Sweatermen Chris Coin and Anne McCart are big time dealers at Casino Night. Lettermen ' s Club members are stu¬ dents who have earned their major letter in any athletic sport at Rocky. Their big activity for the year was Casino Night, which turned out to be a great success. They open the Hospitality Room every home bas¬ ketball game for current and alumni lettermen, and are also the ushers during the basketball games.
