94 Fraction Faction Winter is the season for skiers and with a 70-i- membership, Ski Club proved this statement true. Under the leader¬ ship of Jon Heberling, Emily Lardner, and Sheri Brown, the club travelled to Chestnut Mountain over Christmas vaca¬ tion and again in January. They also spent a weekend at Devils Head in Wis¬ consin. Representatives from Steven¬ son’s provided the extra support and in¬ structions the club needed to become a club full of experienced skiers. Fraction Faction mixed the age old num¬ bers with excitement and surprises. Some meetings were spent discussing and some were spent combining tough problems with refreshments and fun. The annual Christmas trip to the John Deere Planitarium was followed with a surprise visit from Santa Ryner complete with a bag full of presents. The executive board: Melisa Moltzen, Jim Kiser, and Sue Bruck successfully planned parties, picnics, and a train trip to Chicago, all to increase interest and knowledge of mathematics.
