eye Varsity cheerleaders await a crucial call The football and basketball varsity cheerleaders were chosen for one pur¬ pose - to promote " Rock” spirit. A combination of seniors and juniors, they introduced new cheers and helped the 74 spirit grow. The seniors are: Tammy Davis, Lori Brooks, and Lori Johnson. The juniors are Melinda Williams. Paula Miller, and Chris Holmberg. Chosen last May. they attended a cheerleading clinic in Lake Geneva. Wisconsin in July. - % " Little Rock " football and basketball cheerleaders were picked in September by a variety of different people around the school. Practicing every night are sophomores: Terry Gorsuch. Susie Had¬ ley. Patty Johnson. The winning varsity team members include Dave Stone. Bill Arndt. Kirk Lawson. Marty Strickler, and Bob Scott The boys golf team began the 74-75 golfing season in excellent condition. In the Fall Metro Conference the " Rock” golfers finished third, four strokes be¬ hind winning Moline. Coached by David Wood, the varsity team consisting of Senior Dave Stone. Junior Kirk Lawson. Senior Marty Strickler. Senior Bob Scott, and Senior Bill Arndt completed the fall season with averages of 39.9, 42.9, 42.7, 43.2, and 43.6, respectively. Record makers for the season were Dave Stone, Bob Scott, and Marty Strickler. Finishing sixth in the District Meet, the future promises to be a rewarding one for the clubbers. Jill Carlson and Amy Stone, coached by Marcia Lange are the outstanding girl golfers at the " Rock " Golf 65

The four cheerleading sQuads arouse pep in the Homecoming parade The varsity swimming and wrestling cheerleaders are divided into two squads alternating between wrestling matches and swim meets.
