“Expression”Is Theme of 1974 Watchtower A yearbook captures a school year for posteri¬ ty. The ups and downs of daily school life are frozen and recorded by pictures and words. The staff of the 1974 Watchtower endeavored to catch these bits and pieces of the year. Meeting at the quiet hour of 8 a.m., the staff gained a headstart on the school day. During this hour, and many other long ones on weekends and after school, the 1974 Watchtower took shape. By making layouts, cropping pictures and always trying to meet deadlines, staff members learned how to express themselves and their school. 68 Watchtower

Homecoming ’73 Restores Tradition For the first time since 1947, Rocky students elected both a homecoming king and queen, out of a court made up of five girls and five guys. The names of the royalty, Donna Davis and Tim Gordon, were announced at the Homecoming dance, following a week of homecoming buttons, a 50’s greaser day, exhausted float builders, the parade, and a victo¬ rious game. Throughout the week of Homecoming ' 73, and up to the game and the dance, Rocky “boogied on. ” 70 Homecoming
