Study of Madrigals Is Aim of Chamber Choir The cream of Rocky ' s singing voices converged into a single unit, Chamber Choir. They provided music for all seasons and occasions. This year ' s Chamber Choir per¬ formed with the Picolo Opera Company in Hansel and G ret el . caroled at North park, and gave various musical programs throughout Rock Island. Plans were also in the making to attend a Chamber Music Symposium at the University of Illinois. By expressing themselves in these ways, Rock Island High School ' s Chamber Choir showed their love of music. 1. Rocky’s Chamber Choir forms a circle of success: FRONT ROW: Teresa Doyle, Gina Maurus, Sue Clark, Vicki Acker- son, Jan Beinke, Sue Briggs, Mary Osborn, Denise Heime, Mary Skinner. BACK ROW: Jim Kiser, John O’Meara, Curt Danner, Earl McGinnis, Dan Ingold, Keith Anderson, Dave Meredith, Eric Carlson, Jeff Ruud. 2. Chamber Choir mem¬ bers show that hard work goes behind their beautiful sound. Choral Groups Have New Director Rocky ' s Girls ' Glee and sophomore cho¬ ruses found themselves under new leader¬ ship this year in the form of Mr. Dan Pe- truccelli. fi Petro " and his choruses worked hard try ing to achieve musical perfection. Their hard work and patience paid off at their concerts with the pleasure they gave to listeners. 1.
