Language Widens Scope With the growing interest in foreign languages, it was possible this year for students to broaden their knowledge of foreign cultures. Miss Sholl’s third and fourth year French classes took a field trip to see a play put on by a traveling French troupe at the University of Illinois. The Spanish IV class attended a high school production of a Spanish play. Although the German department had no special project this year, the classes have increased in size, so that future projects look promising.
