Superior Vocalists Study Chamber Choir is a group of eighteen voices specializing in the singing of light chamber mu¬ sic, especially English madrigals. The class also includes music theory and conducting. This is the first year the choir members received any credit for the course. Chamber Choir sang with the Detroit Opera in Hansel and Gretal, at Illi¬ nois State U., and for various organizations throughout the year. 1. Guy Stevenson, Kevin Maisenbach, and Teresa Doyle look as if they find sight-reading through a new madrigal a bit difficult. 2. Sherry Clay tries her hand at conducting Chamber Choir in a song. 3. Accompanying Chamber Choir is another duty of member Craig Blomberg. 4. Rocky ' s best sing¬ ers are Chamber Choir members FIRST ROW: Teresa Doyle, Joanne Borden, Beth Ellison, Ann Collins, Sherry Clay, Patti Hess, Jan Beinke, Suzanne Johnson, Ann Erwin. Girls ' Glee Club Provides Melody A special type of sound is heard at Rocky each day as the Girls ' Glee Club assembles for a practice session. Girls ' Glee members work together for perfection in the par¬ ticular sound only this group of feminine voices can make. They participate in the musical, the pops concert and the Christmas con¬ cert, complementing the other choral groups to make Rocky ' s department one of the finest. 1. Sue Hanna is the perfect example of the hard working Girls’ Glee member. 2. Making up the Girls ' Glee Club are, FIRST ROW: Ann Dahlen, Susie Janssen, Diane Williams, Diana Lyle, Rhonda Fordham, Donna Patrick, Anna Ruck- man.
