Dolphinettes Achieve Perfection Rocky ' s Dolphinettes strive for grace, agility and beauty in the water. A swimming club, Dolphinettes is the only club at Rocky to include the junior highs in their membership. To belong to Dolphinettes a girl is choosen on the basis of her synchronized swimming ability. The club presents an annual water show in March. The theme for this year is " Journey Through Outer Space. " It includes routines representing the different planets. 2 7. Mary jane Andrews even manages a smile as she gets out of the pool after a strenuous Dolphinette practice. 2. just a little more practice and they ' ll have it! 3. Rocky ' s aquatic artists listen intently to instruc¬ tions. 4. Gene Kristmanits is determined to do a ballet leg. 5. Kim Grevas and Chris Evans prove that Dolphi¬ nettes isn ' t all hard work. 6. Teen Democrats Work Together in Election Year Teen Democrats have ceased to be only a so¬ cial organization. They now title themselves a Social Action Club. During an election year such as this one, the clubs members have their work cut out for them. Led by officers Caren Nessen, Carson Doran (who is McGovern liai¬ son for Rocky High), Tom Rockwell and Toria Strauss the Demos work for endorsement of all Democratic candidates. After elections they will be working to gain support for democrat ic poli¬ cies at issue in Washington D.C. The polls show a breathtakingly busy year for Rocky ' s Teen Democrats. 1.
