Human Rights Concerns Senate This year Senate has at¬ tempted to educate itself in the process of change. Run¬ ning into many stumbling blocks, the Senate started to reexamine itself. Eighty differ¬ ent viewpoints attempting to work together seemed to make little headway. As they battled trivia, the Senate tried for more power. Discouraged Senators spread their apathy to the students. To the administration the Senate still played its token role as the voice of the student . With a revised constitution and a bet¬ ter understanding of parli- mentary procedure, the Senate may now be better equipped to forge ahead. 1. One of The Senate ' s projects this year, was selling Rocky boost¬ er buttons. 2. Sophie Senators enjoy the responsibilities of being a Senator. 3. Heading the Senate are it ' s officers: LEFT TO RIGHT: President, Guy Stevenson, Trea¬ surer, Susie Brooks, and Secretary, Kim McGinnis.
