Scholastic Honors Come To Ten A group of students with their own special kind of appeal — this is the Top Ten. Often giving up less serious activities to pur¬ sue a goal of scholastic brilli¬ ance, these students can look on the past four years with pride in themselves. With the institution of the new weighted grading systems this year, more credit was given to students with accel¬ erated courses; consequently, the members of the Top Ten were more fairly determined. They are talented students, with long hours of Shakespeare, French conjugations, Moby Dick, and sines and cosines be¬ hind them, but more important, they are people who find joy in their work. 1.
