Key Club Sells Programs, Buttons at Games Key Club. A junior branch of the Rock Island Kiwanis Club, which promotes community service through student leadership. Starting after-game movies to support their Drug program. The Drug Operation—a year round project with an anti-drug message. The annual soap drive—4000 bars. Selling " Champaign on the Rocks ' ' boosterbuttons. Printing, folding football programs, a traffic control device, environmental activities, helping in the Kiwanis carnival, attending weekly luncheons, volleying against GAA: Many of the activating functions which Key Club sparks. Various Key Clubbers offer their services selling programs at Rocky football games. Two Rotarians are picked by Rocky faculty members each month. Rotary Honors 26 Outstanding Rocky Seniors Junior Rotarians. Eighteen— Two for each month of the school year. Attending four weekly meetings each month at the Rock Island Rotary Club. Senior men— Sponsored by Rotary International. Selection by the faculty on the basis of each junior Rotarian ' s achievements— leadership and scholastic qualities. Receiving recognition each thirty days in the CRIMSON CRIER. Active, alert, able-minded young citizens—representing Rocky with honors behind and ahead of them. Becoming a part of civic affairs—attaining status in the school. Junior Rotarians make it.
