Culinary, sewing skills taught to homemakers If you smell something good cooking, then it must be the Home Economics Club in ac¬ tion preparing one of their many superb delicacies. The club participated in many ac¬ tivities that taught domestic skills. The club met once each month with an intriguing program planned for each meeting. At an early session, French foreign exchange student, Sylvie Mathe, gave an expansive lecture on the French homemaker. In two later meetings the girls learned the art of crocheting. Displaying their wares are Home Ec Club officers Jolene Mincer, treasurer; Gloria Heard, secretary; Kathy Davis, president. Newly-acquired skills are put to use by aspiring seamstresses.
