Thespians demonstrate forensic abilities Christopher Fry ' s most highly acclaimed comedy The Lady ' s Not For Burning chal¬ lenged those of the Dramatic Club as their first seasonal play. The twelve cast mem¬ bers performed a matinee on November fourteenth and on the evenings of the fifteenth and sixteenth. The matinee was a first-ever for the club. A unique aspect of the Dramatic Club ' s first produc¬ tion was the fact that the com¬ edy had a setting in the Fif¬ teenth Century and was writ¬ ten in the Elizabethan style although it was first produced in 1948. Dramatic Club develops theatrical skills The many thrills of theatre life were obtained monthly at Rocky ' s Drama Club last year. Traveling contest plays, speech contests, and various other productions were but a few of the outlets for Rocky talent. One of the highlighting features of the year proved to be the Rockademy Awards and dinner celebrated in the spring. Reaching for success. Dramatic club officers are, Diane Pirman, Connie Peschang, Steph Heiwig, Dave Johnston, and Jean Rosenquist. Dramatic Club members rehearse for their upcoming play.

Senior, junior class plays get big turnout A Roomful of Roses, a drama by Edith Sommer examining divorce and desperation, was presented as the Junior Class Play. The money derived from the production helped support the Junior-Senior Prom. Terrence Rattigan ' s Separate Tables served as the Senior Class Play. Two plays in one, this work dealt with complica¬ tions of love. With scripts in hands, three students diligently concentrate on their lines. Members of the Junior Class Play rest after a long night ' s practice.
