Chamber Choir members are, FRONT ROW , Gloria DeVacht, Karen Robinson, Becky Taylor, Millie Lawrence, Dawn Cole, Mara Mitchell, Pat Bunger, Debbie Hammen, Johnette Hiner. BACK ROW , Bill Ellison, Larry Cline, Frank Wood, Al Nelson, Dave Kerler, Irwin Spady, Mark McKissick, Dave Schrader, Steve Teeter. AT PIANO, Marlise Riffel. Chamber Choir extends good will in song Rehearsing for the Christmas concert are Chamber Choir members Becky Taylor, Dawn Cole, Johnette Hiner, Gloria DeVacht, and Mara Mitchell. In the sixteenth century, " chamber music " was sung by small groups of carolers. A select body of juniors and seniors, having the title of Chamber Choir, met each day this year to engage in singing this type of music. Sixteen talented girls and boys sang out under their director ' s close scrutiny. Sporting rust- colored blazers and plaid jumpers, the Chamber Choir performed in numerous ex¬ change assemblies and school concerts. Many an enjoyable hour was spent by the student body listening to the inspiring voices of the Choir. 156

Rocky ' s female vocalists hit high note Twenty-five female vocal¬ ists composed this year ' s Girls ' Glee Club. Daily during fifth period the girls enjoyed an opportunity to gain skill and precision from practicing. All types of songs, ranging from classical to contemporary were sung and perfected. The Girls ' Glee Club offered their talent to the student body in the var¬ ious concerts and music-fests held throughout the year. Highlighting the Glee Club ' s year was joining with the Sen¬ ior Glee and the Chamber Choir for the 200-voice choral Christmas program. Taking that refreshing pause are Girls ' Glee officers Toni Tucker, Sue Miller, and )an Deater. Accompaniment and direction for the Girls ' Glee Club are provided by Marlise Riffel and Mr. Murray Osborn.
