Y-Teen cabinet members pause from meeting to pose for camera. They are, FRONT ROW, Dawn Shoemaker, Alma Herrera, Sara Schwiebert, Mara Mitchell, Linda Brown, Karen Klatt, Gail Hansen, Marilyn Fields, Lynn Gay, Theresa Swale. BACK ROW , Monica Pealstrom, Laurie Anderson, Chris Boyles, Helane Golden, Sally Strohbehn, Peggy Bull, Renee Miers, Judy Miers, Joan DeBarr, Diane Potter, Debbie Fenton, and Sandy Thomas. Michaela Demps comes to the Y-Teens slumber party well-prepared. Y-Teens serve Project NOW and Head Start Varsity Y-Teens was headed by Monica Pealstrom, president; Ceri Gellerman, treasurer; Sally Strohbehn, secretary; Sandy Thomas, vice-president. 143

Varsity Y-Teeners relax and enjoy refreshments at a meeting. Sophomore Y-Teens officers, Deb Griffin, Jackie Scott, Sharon Allen, and Pat Hick¬ man follow traditions of varsity Y Teens. Wrapping gifts at a Y-Teens meeting are Bonnie Wagner, Susie Andich, Carol Goldstein, Mara Mitchell, Jean Bennett, and Sharron Turner. Thoughtful Y-Teens, a girls ' club offered its members many varied social projects. Getting off on the right foot, a Big Sister-Little Sister Slumber Party was held at the Y. The Y-Teens Sadie Hawkins dance gave everyone a chance to “grub up. " Y-Teens proceeded to play Santa Claus ' s part at the Head Start Christmas Party. The tradi¬ tional “Sweetheart Swirl " was held in February. This event was, as usual, a girl-ask-boy affair and turned out a success. Requirements to attend this dance were service projects, attendance at a required num¬ ber of meetings and member¬ ship paid. M2
