Student participation in the governing of the school is made possi¬ ble by the Senate, an organization of members elected by their respec¬ tive homerooms once a year. These student representatives meet every Thursday throughout the school year to discuss and take action on im¬ portant problems of the high school. The Senate, under the supervision of assistant principal Aspedon, is defi¬ nitely the backbone of the student body and provides it with the leader¬ ship necessary for it to keep moving.
