MEMBERS OF PAN-AMERICAN LEAGUE For students of Spanish, the language comes alive in Pan American League. The Spanish people, their explo¬ sive music, fiery dances, sports, peppery food, and customs, become well known to the League members through speakers, movies, and demonstrations during the meetings. The highlight of the year is the annual pinata party. Students participate in this Spanish Christmas festival by singing, eating, and breaking the gaily deco¬ rated p i n a t a s filled with candies. Through programs such as these. Pan American League provides fun, fellow¬ ship, and enlightenment for members. To the delight of Pan American League members. Miss Maria Meier demonstrates a cape dance while garbed in an authentic suit of lights. The large membership of Pan-American League neighbors south of the border. is an example of the interest shown in our PAN-AMERICAN LEAGUE 153
