OPTIMISTS LEARN PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURE Chosen to meet bi-monthly as Student Optimists are Front Row: Mike Petersen, John Lambert, and Ed Stack. Second Row: Tom Biehl, Bruce Andich, and Jim Teros. Third Row: Bob Connell, Steve Urie, Gil Bunning, and Riley Brissman. Fourth Row: Walt Wise, Neal Peterson, Chris Rohlfing, Bob Klingebiel, Dave Kolovat, Jeff Miss- man, Jim W T axenberg, and Jon Hobart. Back Row: Steve Hawes and Joe Scheuerman. Mr. L. V. Burch, sponsor of the Student Optimists Club, chooses junior and senior boys to attend the monthly meetings at the Y.M.C.A. At each meeting, a different member presents a speaker and presides as chairman. Besides attending these meetings, Students Optimists usher at the annual “Holiday on Ice” show and attend a basket¬ ball game at the University of Iowa. STUDENT OPTIMISTS 135
