CLASS OF '57 COLORS: Black and White FLOWER: Red Carnation SPONSOR Miss Joycelyn Blakkolb This above all: to thine ownselfbe true, and ir must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man. This favorite quotation from our master teacher will remain with us for all time. Shehas given un- seliishly of herself--the many long hours spent with declamatory students--the strain of whipping a play into shape--meeting with a Pep Club committee. Many and varied are her responsibilities. Yet she is always willing to take a few minutes to talk to a student who has a problem. And so as we leave the hill, rna.ny of our fondest memories are of the English classroom where we learned a great deal more than grammar and litera- ture. She shared with us her wonderful philosophy and we say, Thanks, Miss B1akkolb. CLASS OFFICERS President, .Tack Vice-President, Leo Secretary, Brad Treasurer, Larry Sanger
