Harriers have so-so year Though the Hubs had only a mediocre season in cross coun- try, Jamie MacTaggart provided a highlight by finishing eighth in a field of more than 100 runners to place the Hubs in an eighth place district finish at West High in Rockford. MacTaggart advanced to sectional action in November, but did not gain a state berth. Coach Schutte also had praise for the efforts of Dennis Orli- kowski and Tim Ellis for their dis- trict performances, though both finished out of the money. , .1 Mark Brown and Jamie MacTaggart were top runners for the Hubs all season.
