The F. F. A. is the national organization of boys studying Vocational Agriculture. The purpose ofthe F. F. A. is to practice brotherhood, honor rural opportunities and responsibilities, and de ve lop the qualities of leadership which a Future Farmer should possess. The F. F. A. is an active organization doing many things. The firsttrip the F. F. A. made this year was a picnic to the Gulf with the F. H. A. The F. F. A. boys then had a field day at Bill Malek's ranch. The boys branded, roped, rode, and dehorned cattle. The trip was high lighted by a barbecue. The F. F. A. and F. H. A. also went on a trip to the San Antonio Junior Livestock Show and Exposition. The District F. F. A. Banquet was held inRobstown. Other planned activities included the fishing trip and the Father and Son Barbecue. The Chapte r Farmer officers were Buddy Wells, President, Ronnie Harwell, Vice-President, Johny Green, T r e a s u re rg Charles Dittlinger, Secretaryg Curtis Fox, Reporter, Milton Menn, Parliamentariang and Bobby Schanen, Sentinel.
