For the first time ' Robstown had a Homecoming which promoted the general aim of our group--to promote bette r relationship between the townspeople and students. They also presented the cheerleaders jackets as a token of appreciation. The Student Council c re ate d good will among the students with its talent shows, assembly programs, and parties. Our school was represented at three district meetings and one state meeting by our energetic group. Special delegates to the state meeting were Zula Cates, Ronnie Smith, Tena Wood, and Ronnie Harwell. Officers of the Student Council for the 1953-1954 school year were Ronnie Smith, Presidentg Ronnie Harwell, Vice-Presidentg Tena Wood, Secretaryg Ann Lotspeich, Treasurerg and Harry Hutchison, Parliamen- tarian.
