so 90 Queen Peggy of the House of Lisemby reigned over the hearts of R. H. S. at the annual Valentine Coronation. She was escorted by King Curtis of the House of Fox. In her pink and white court were Barbara Jane Perdue, Richard Dugger, Gloria McCormick, Buster Magee, Cynthia Howze, Dale Bullock, Sharon Moody, Jimmy Thompson, Kalani Banks, Toy Smith, SoRelle Land, and Leonard Speer. Kent Speer was the Crown Bearer, and Marilyn Rosebraugh was Flower Girl. The Modern Cupid was Barbara Frazier. Ronnie Harwell, Vice-President of the Student Council, crowned Peggyg and Zula Cates, President of the Senior Class, was Mistress of Ceremonies. Q 46 4.5 0 in

For the first time ' Robstown had a Homecoming which promoted the general aim of our group--to promote bette r relationship between the townspeople and students. They also presented the cheerleaders jackets as a token of appreciation. The Student Council c re ate d good will among the students with its talent shows, assembly programs, and parties. Our school was represented at three district meetings and one state meeting by our energetic group. Special delegates to the state meeting were Zula Cates, Ronnie Smith, Tena Wood, and Ronnie Harwell. Officers of the Student Council for the 1953-1954 school year were Ronnie Smith, Presidentg Ronnie Harwell, Vice-Presidentg Tena Wood, Secretaryg Ann Lotspeich, Treasurerg and Harry Hutchison, Parliamen- tarian.
