Jim Taylor, one of Robertsdale ' s most dis- tinguished seniors, was selected as the most outstanding scholar-athlete. He was elected by the Alabama Chapter of the National Foot- ball Foundation, Birmingham. Selection was based on achievements in athletics, scholar- ship, and leadership. Jim competed against students in Baldwin, Mobile, Escambia, Mon- roe, Conecuh, Washington, Clark, and Choc- taw counties. Besides being in the top ten of his class and having GPA of 4.0, Jim is Vice-President of the Math Club and a member of the student council. Jim has accepted an appointment to the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.
