SECOND ROW: Dawn Justice, Martha Ann Garrett, Sharon Smoot, Carol Ann Cross, Jerri GAIVIIVI The Gamma Tri-Hi-Y Hrst graced the lanes and plateaus of Robert E. Lee in September of l956. It is an active club consisting ot thirty members, all with the gift-ot-gab, a love of lite, and a very small dab ot intellect. During the year it adopted a small boy from the Childrens Home and on Thanksgiving made it possible tor a needy family to enioy the holiday. Weldon, Pat Scott, Jo Ann Weldon, Mary Ann Vickers . . . THIRD ROW: Margaret Ann Parker, Kathryn McWhorter, Elois Peterson, Louise Baker, Sandra Barnett, Carolyn Tatum, Betty Lee Cross, Betty Wackym, Gail Bazzell, Laura Holmes. TRI-HI-Y It entertained her members with the City-wide Christmas and Sweetheart dances and a function or two thrown in tor good measure. Her aims are high and her spirits too. This spring she will graduate imost of itt and go on to the worlds yet unseen. She looks back on her yes- teryears with fondness in her heart for each of the girls who have been a part. THET TRI-HI-Y Theta Tri-Hi-Y has had many activities during the year. A cake sale and rummage sale were held to raise money for the club. As a Christmas project, a party was given for seven needy chil- dren and presents were given to them by the club members. Theta had two functions during the year and also had a Valentine party.
