Mu Alpha Theta Club Sponsor Mathematics computing and progressing While sophomores are struggling with parallel planes and juniors are expanding the binomial theorem, many seniors are memorizing the trig functions of common angles. Geometry, algebra, and trigonometry, though, are. not the only math courses open to students at Lee. A student may choose to investigate the theory of bounds--by taking calculus. He may choose, instead, to work with permutations-by taking elementary analysis- or he may learn to set up coded programs in a computer math course. Each of these many subjects is included in the mathematics department, a de- partment guided by Mrs. Thera Yoes, which can give interested students a very thorough mathe- matical background.
